My first two deliveries arrived partially unfrozen but my last delivery was differently packed, in a solid styrofoam box, and the food was still solidly frozen. The first two deliveries was in 'n carboard box, lined with styrofoam sheets. This type of packaging doesn't work well enough for long distances because the cold escapes and the heat seeps in. This might only work for short distances. However, overall I love the taste of the food and are very happy with my orders.

The food with the vegetables are excellent. The cannelloni was a bit spicy. Other all, the food is good.

Food very tasty but I don’t think it’s great value for money. At nearly R100 for a 400 g meal most of it is made up by either vegetables or a starch. I’d rather buy meat dishes somewhere and cook and freeze my own vegetables and starches.

I ❤️ love the food, its absolutely delicious and portions are good but my order was delayed by like 10 days and I had to be following up as there was no communication and eventually was told there was a glitch in the system also there was just a sleeve cover and not the usual cover box as to what menu/food with the picture. The person communicsting on whatsapp need to answer and instead you get blue ticked, thats very annoying. I would order again though, I would have given 5 star if there was constant communication letting me know there was a hick up. I have ordered a few times before.

Have not had a lot of time to taste all the meals, but what we have tried, has been really nice.😊. We will get through them all at some stage, and then it will maybe be 5 stars.⭐️. I’m only giving 4 stars as we’ve had so little time to get to them all.
Really loved the pasta with chicken. It was real chicken breasts, no skin, bones or gristle. Real chicken, one seldom gets in meals. So thank you guys!

From the meals I have had they are delicious. My comment is regarding the packaging. It says refer to the website. It would be great if the instructions are on the label and printed in a bigger front. It's inconvenient to have to refer to the website for heating instructions. Also most of them are in containers not with film over them and it does not say if these are microwave safe. Otherwise so far happy with the taste. Just the packaging needs changes

Wonderful meals but even though their email says "We deliver Mondays to Fridays" , they changed a few months ago to only Mondays and Tuesdays. They did not let their regular customers know about this. I had to find out when i phoned in cause delivery guy tells me only Mondays and Tuesdays and was informed only then off change.
I work at office Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so i cannot receive the meals on those days - sad that i wont be able to order from them anymore, accept when we lucky to work a Tuesday at home (which does not happen often)

My only concern is that the trays didn't have protective sleeves or covers, so some of the packets (especially the smaller ones like the pasta) arrived open. This raises a hygiene concern for me."

First time buying and can honestly say the food is delicious. Great portion size, good variety of meals and packed full of flavour. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try the convenience of ready made meals without compromising on taste and quality.

There is no doubt in my mind that I could ever go back to cooking all my family meals, ever again- at least not while Chef Box is around!!!

I love my Chefsbox meals with beef stroganoff and moussaka being my favorites. But every meal is lovely and tasty! And very little dishes (depending on whether I plate it or not) 😃

All the meals I've chosen from Chefs' Box have been delicious, very filling and most of all nutritious! The danger of cooking for 1 is that you don't! Chefs' Box takes away all of that hassle, so I can have a home-cooked meal every day. Even my doctor gave it the thumbs up!! Thank you Team Chefs' Box. I really appreciate you.

This is my first time buying. I have only tried the chicken paella so far but thoroughly enjoyed this meal. As did my son. The portions are very generous. Looking forward to trying the other meals.
